Pricing

Operational control infrastructure for AI — priced for the organization.

Cuttlefish is the control plane organizations put between their people, their AI models, and their real systems. It is not a productivity app or a per-seat chat tool — it is the infrastructure that governs what AI is allowed to do across your environment, captures proof of every action, and keeps spend under control. Pricing reflects that control plane.

Plans are billed monthly. You bring your own AI model keys or run models locally — Cuttlefish governs how they are used and never marks up tokens.

What you are paying for

A control plane, not a productivity tool.

The capability — any model, the real computer, building apps, autonomous work — is the easy part. What an organization pays for is the operational control around it: who can do what, against which systems, with what proof, and at what cost.

Governed access to real systems.

AI reaches your tools, data, browser, and internal systems only through governed capabilities — classified, approval-aware, and scoped — never as a raw toolbox handed to a model. You decide what is read-only, what needs sign-off, and what is off-limits.

Proof of every action.

Every consequential action is approved and recorded in a tamper-proof trail: what was done, who approved it, what changed, and where results went. Administrators get audit-ready, read-only views instead of trusting a chat transcript.

Control over spend.

Bring your own model providers and keep your own rates — Cuttlefish never marks up tokens — while administrators set budgets, meter usage by team, and keep AI spend predictable across the organization.

Plans

Three tiers of operational control.

Every plan is the full Cuttlefish runtime. What scales across tiers is the breadth of governed systems, the depth of identity and administration, the proof and policy controls, and the deployment and support you get. All plans are billed monthly; you bring your own AI model keys.

Professional

$1,500/month

For a team putting governed AI to work on real systems.

The full Cuttlefish runtime for a working team: any model (your keys or local), the real browser and desktop, building apps, and autonomous work — with governance on from day one.

Includes: governed access to your connected systems, approvals with a tamper-proof record of every action, single sign-on, shared usage and spend visibility, and standard support.

Most popular

Business

$5,000/month

For organizations standardizing governed AI across teams.

Everything in Professional, scaled to an organization that wants AI under one set of controls across multiple teams.

Adds: organization-wide administration, single sign-on with automatic provisioning and roles (SSO / SCIM / RBAC), audit-ready proof exports, per-team budgets and usage metering, and priority support.

Enterprise

from $10,000/month

For regulated and large organizations that need full operational control.

Everything in Business, with the deployment, governance, and assurance that demanding environments require.

Adds: private and self-hosted deployment options, advanced policy and governance, custom integrations and security review, a dedicated account team, and a tailored agreement. Priced to your environment, starting at $10,000/month.

Moving up a tier turns on more control — it never replaces the product or migrates your work. Your people keep the same Cuttlefish; the organization adds identity, administration, reach, and proof.

Compare control

The capability is the same. The control is what scales.

Every tier is the full runtime — any model, the real computer, building apps, autonomy, and proof. The table shows where operational control deepens as you move up.

Questions, answered

Straight answers on what the plans include.

What am I actually buying?

Operational control. The AI capability — any model, the real computer, building apps, autonomous work — is in every plan. What you pay for is the control plane around it: governed access to your systems, approvals and proof, identity and administration, and spend control across your organization.

Do you resell or mark up the AI models?

No. Model freedom is bring-your-own: connect your own provider keys, or run models locally, and pay those providers directly for what you use. Cuttlefish governs how models are used and never marks up tokens.

What is the difference between Professional, Business, and Enterprise?

The runtime is identical. Professional governs a single team; Business adds organization-wide administration, full SSO/SCIM/RBAC, audit-ready proof, and per-team budgets; Enterprise adds private and self-hosted deployment, advanced governance, custom integrations, security review, and a dedicated account team.

Is the enterprise tier a different product?

No. Every tier is the same Cuttlefish runtime. Moving up turns on more operational control — identity, administration, reach, proof, and deployment — without changing the product or migrating anyone's work.

How is it billed?

Monthly. Professional is $1,500/month, Business is $5,000/month, and Enterprise starts at $10,000/month and is priced to your environment. Talk to sales to size the right plan and start a pilot on a real environment.

Can we try it first?

Yes. Most organizations start with a short pilot that maps one real environment, turns on governed capabilities, and proves the approval and proof flow before rolling out. Request a pilot and we will scope it with you.
